In 2018 i designed the RF-04 one of the best-seller wheel of MOMO until today. I completely reviewed and renewed the classic y spokes design: the doubled spokes are connected on the rim’s lip through a very thin polish which almost creates a diamond shape. The concavity is visually improved by small cutouts on the polish in the central part of the wheel, just close to the wheel’s lens. Two finishing with matching caps, together with various combinations of diameters and rims, fully respond to the customersí needs: glossy silver polished for a clean shiny look and matt black polished for a darker attitude.
Design & Engineering
Thanks to the possibilities to work in close contact on site with the production engineers based Taiwan, studying the production process, i succesfully managed the wheel production exactly as design concept. That's was important for me as "fahter" of the project, but also for the expectation of MOMO management and distributors all over the world.
